This image is from an exhibition I did in 1993 in a warehouse space on Abel Street, Toronto called Aphorisms and Fragments. All the works in the independent pop up show were formal arrangements of unlikely objects that played with symmetry and reflections or folds in tissues. Sometimes it's fun to look back on old work. That's a grid of ornamental, flocked kleenex box covers flanked top and bottom by inkblot prints and on each side by small, representational oil paintings of objects such as shells and hand-tools.
