This painting had no surface. The paint was applied entirely to the underside of the plexiglass sheeting, pinned flat to the wall.
The color scheme for the paintings in this exhibition was largely derived from paint remnants discovered in a supply closet in the gallery. A fudgy Ralph Lauren brown and a strange pale lilac came into heavy rotation, along with a friendly cadmium red
Thrill Rides play on the monitors.
